Oral Hygiene

Your periodontal health (the health of the tissues that support your teeth) is of utmost importance. In addition to keeping your teeth in position, there is substantial evidence that the health of your gums is intrinsically linked to your cardiovascular health.

Teeth cleaning

Teeth discoloration and staining are nearly inevitable. As a nation, we enjoy tea and coffee, which, along with other substances such as red wine and nicotine, can leave stains and traces. There are methods for removing these discolorations and stains without damaging the enamel.

Using equipment such as the AirFlow, which removes stains in a gentle and effective manner, we conduct comprehensive deep cleaning at our clinic. Your teeth are cleansed using a fine jet of water, powder, and compressed air to gently and painlessly remove surface stains. As it will make your teeth appear whiter, it may be a viable alternative to teeth whitening. And you'll see immediate results, which will certainly make you smile!

Gum health

Gum health is incredibly crucial. Without healthy gums, healthy teeth are impossible. If your gums are unhealthy, implant treatments may fail, which is an additional reason to maintain periodontal health. Plaque accumulation along and below the gum line is what causes gum disease, also known as gingivitis. Plaque bacteria can cause an infection that, if left untreated, can lead to gum and bone injury and tooth decay.

Indicators of gingivitis:

A reddish colour

inflammation and sensitivity

Bleeding gums

The good news is that gingivitis-caused damage is reversible, and there are several methods to treat gum problems.

Scaling and polishing – we will remove plaque and tartar from your teeth, and then polish them to remove stains and marks.

Antibiotics - For advanced gum disease, we recommend full mouth or localised gum treatments with topical antibiotics that substantially improve gingival health.

Oral Health

Good oral hygiene is essential not only for the health of your teeth and gums, but also for your overall wellbeing. Among the straightforward measures you can take to protect your oral hygiene are the following:

Brushing your teeth twice a day is recommended.

Changing your toothbrush every three months is advised.

Flossing each day

Regular six-monthly dental exams are recommended.

Six-monthly scaling and polishing consultations with the dentist.

Oral hygiene supplies

Check out our online store for the Smile Hub line of 100% natural toothpastes and mouthwashes for whitening your teeth. If you're tired of mint-flavored toothpaste, try our strawberry-flavored variety; perhaps it will encourage your children to brush their own teeth. And because you only need a grain's worth of toothpaste per brushing, each tube will last a long time.
